No matter how much we think we’re able to keep up on technological developments, it’s fair to say that in thirty years time we’ll be left in the dust by our kids.  It’s always been that way.  Back in the 60s, the flower power generation were lightyears ahead of their parents when it came to building a freer-thinking, more relaxed and liberal society.

Members of that same generation are often left in the dust by their own children when it comes to making the most of cutting edge technologies today.  How many 60 year olds are using FriendFeed or Twitter?  I’m sure there are some, but in my experience the age range of most users is broadly 18 to 50.

So, imagine what our kids will be doing in the future!  Isn’t it a good idea to give them a head start?  Cyndy Aleo-Carreira thinks so.  In her guest post on Louis Gray’s blog she tells how using social video site Seesmic helped her two year-old daughter (already a Seesmic veteran at that tender age!) get to sleep after a terrifying experience watching Monsters Inc.

It truly is a heartwarmingly cute story of a little girl using social video (or ‘bidee-yo’ as she calls it) – it brings a whole new meaning to ‘early adopter’!  So get over there and read it!
